The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 37.44 points, or 0.56%, to 6,700.561 at the end of trading on Friday (May 19, 2023).

The issuer with the code SAGE became the top gainer after strengthening by 13.38%. This was followed by MPXL and GTRA, which strengthened by 10.66% and 8.63%, respectively.

On the other hand, today's top loser was HAJJ, which contracted by 10%, followed by NCKL and IMAS, which weakened by 6.98% and 6.95%, respectively.
