Today's price movement represents the highest increase in the past week at 1.65%. However, trading since the beginning of the year has shown a continuous decline, with year-to-date growth down 10.16%.

The current situation follows a downward trend in three-month wheat futures prices over the past two days.

Over the past week, three-month wheat futures prices grew by 0.34%, with an average daily transaction price of US$537.87 per bushel. Compared to the price 30 days ago, three-month wheat futures prices have grown by 0.29%. The highest trading value for three-month wheat futures contracts this year was US$700.25 per bushel, recorded on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Annually, the average trading price of three-month wheat futures contracts over the past five years has been declining. Meanwhile, monthly price monitoring shows a downward trend in transactions over the past 12 months. The highest average monthly price for three-month wheat futures contracts was recorded in September 2022 at US$833.91 per bushel.
