Bali's Fisheries Production Recorded at 127,700 Tons in 2020

Fisheries is one of the main livelihood sectors for Indonesian people. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), fisheries production in Bali Province reached 127,700 tons in 2020.

Based on region, Jembrana Regency was the largest fisheries producer in Bali, reaching 26,800 tons. Karangasem Regency ranked second with fisheries production of 26,200 tons.

The next largest fisheries production areas were Denpasar City with 21,700 tons; Klungkung Regency with 19,200 tons; and Buleleng Regency with 14,900 tons.

The value of fisheries production in Bali reached Rp 2.9 trillion. This figure increased by 5.46% from the previous year, which was Rp 2.7 trillion.

Denpasar City had the largest fisheries production value at Rp 977.5 billion, followed by Karangasem Regency at Rp 663.6 billion and Buleleng Regency at Rp 354.9 billion.
