According to the Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Indonesia's export value during January-March or the first quarter of 2026 reached US$66.85 billion.

This figure rose by 0.34% (cumulative-to-cumulative/c-to-c) compared to the same period in 2025.

Of the US$66.85 billion, 95.13% or US$63.60 billion was non-oil and gas (migas) exports. Meanwhile, US$3.25 billion or 4.87% was gas exports.

By sector, during the first quarter of 2026, non-migas exports from the processing industry were the largest, reaching US$54.98 billion or 82.25% of the total export value.

Gas and oil

First quarter of 2025: 5.46% (US$3.64 billion)
First quarter of 2026: 4.87% (US$3.25 billion)

Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries (non-migas)

First quarter of 2025: 2.53% (US$1.69 billion)
First quarter of 2026: 1.71% (US$1.14 billion)

BPS said that exports of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products plummeted by 32.18% (c-to-c). This was due to a decrease in coffee exports.

"Similarly, exports of mining and other products fell by 11.17% (c-to-c), which was contributed by a decrease in coal exports," said BPS in its report.
