Major banks in Indonesia have reported their financial performance for the first quarter of 2026 to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
These large banks refer to companies with substantial assets and market capitalization. They include BRI, Mandiri, BNI, BCA, and BTN.
Based on the financial reports compiled by Databoks, the largest net profit in the first quarter of 2026 was recorded by BRI, which earned Rp15.49 trillion.
This figure was closely followed by Mandiri, which reported Rp15.38 trillion, ranking second.
Meanwhile, the lowest profit was recorded by BTN, amounting to Rp1.1 trillion.
Here are the revenue and net profit of the five largest banks in Indonesia according to their financial reports submitted to the IDX in the first quarter of 2026:
- PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk
BRI reported that the company earned a net profit of Rp15.49 trillion in the first quarter of 2026. T
he current period's profit attributed to the parent company's owners surged by 13.73% year-on-year (yoy) from Rp13.62 trillion in the first quarter of 2025.
The positive performance of the emitter with the stock code BBRI was supported by revenue, which also increased by 5.94% (yoy). In the first quarter of 2025, BRI's revenue was recorded at Rp49.87 trillion, rising to Rp52.83 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.
- PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk
Bank Mandiri recorded a profit attributed to the parent company's owners of Rp15.38 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.
This figure grew by 16.57% year-on-year. However, the net interest, sharia, and insurance income of the emitter with the stock code BMRI decreased by 2.3% year-on-year to Rp25.34 trillion in this period.
BCA reported a profit attributed to the parent company's owners of Rp14.68 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.
This figure grew by 3.80% year-on-year from Rp14.15 trillion in the first quarter of 2025.
Throughout the first quarter of 2026, the net interest income and sharia banking of the BBCA-listed bank amounted to Rp21.11 trillion, a decrease of 0.05% (yoy).
- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk
BNI reported that the company earned a net profit of Rp5.66 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.
The attributable profit for the current period increased by 5.2% (yoy) to Rp5.38 trillion.
The profit growth was in line with its revenue. In the first three months of 2026, the BBNI-listed company recorded a net interest income of Rp11.02 trillion, an increase of 12.11% (yoy).
- PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk
BTN recorded a profit attributable to the parent entity of Rp1.11 trillion in the first quarter of 2026.
This figure increased by 22.60% compared to the profit in the first quarter of last year (yoy).
Meanwhile, the total revenue of the BBTN-listed company throughout the first quarter of 2026 decreased by 2.41% (yoy) to Rp8.01 trillion.
