According to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), national bank credit disbursement increased during the third quarter, or July-September 2024.
However, the ratio of non-performing loans/non-performing financing (NPL/NPF) decreased.
In July 2024, the total value of credit/financing from general banks to non-bank third parties reached Rp7,514 trillion, with non-performing loans totaling Rp170 trillion (2.27% of total credit).
This then increased to Rp7,579 trillion in September 2024, and non-performing loans decreased to Rp167 trillion (2.21%).
When broken down by segment, the highest ratio of non-performing loans in September 2024 was in working capital loans, while the lowest was in investment loans.

* Investment loans: credit/financing value Rp2,063 trillion, non-performing loans Rp34 trillion (1.69%)
