According to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the value of non-performing loans (NPLs) for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) nationwide reached Rp59.81 trillion in August 2024.

Broken down by bank category, the largest amount of MSMEs' non-performing loans was in state-owned banks (BUMNs), reaching Rp33.13 trillion in August 2024.
