Bank Indonesia (BI) data processed by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) shows that the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector received the largest working capital loans (KMK) from banks in June 2023.
The value of its business loans reached Rp927.78 trillion. This loan increased month-to-month (mom) from May 2023, which was Rp915.37 trillion.
The second largest economic sector was the manufacturing industry with a total loan of Rp740.02 trillion in the same period. This value also increased from the previous Rp727.07 trillion (mom).
Third place was occupied by the financial services and insurance sector at Rp314.82 trillion in June 2023. This increased from the previous Rp311.86 trillion (mom).
The fourth and fifth sectors were construction and agriculture, with values of Rp246.77 trillion and Rp239.4 trillion respectively.
