Labor Force Conditions in Aceh Tamiang Regency in 2023

The number of workers in Aceh Tamiang Regency has increased over the last three years. Historically, in 2021 there were 133,870 workers, this number decreased to 133,030 in 2022, and increased to 144,660 in 2023.

The decrease in the open unemployment rate (TPT) in Aceh Tamiang Regency is related to the slump in economic growth in 2023. The economy in this region in 2023 recorded a growth of 2.25 percent. Previously, in 2022, economic growth in this regency/city was recorded at 3.32 percent.
