2023 Data: Unemployment in Batu City 4.52%

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reports that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Batu City reached 4.52% in 2023. This figure is a decrease of 3.91% compared to December 2022, which recorded 8.43%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 2.05%.

Since 2018, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Batu City has shown an upward trend in terms of numbers. However, in the four years following the Covid-19 pandemic (since 2020), the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Batu City has also decreased.
