Complete List of 2025 Provincial Minimum Wage (UMK) in West Java: Bekasi City Highest

The Acting Governor of West Java, Bey Machmudin, has set the 2025 Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK) for the region.

This is stipulated in West Java Governor's Decree Number 561.7/Kep.798-Kesra/2024 concerning the UMK in the West Java Province in 2025, issued on Wednesday (18/12/2024).

The Head of the West Java Manpower and Transmigration Office, Teppy Dharmawan, stated that all UMK proposals from regencies/cities have met the provisions of the Minister of Manpower Regulation (Permenaker) for a 6.5% increase from the 2024 UMK.

"Therefore, all comply; there were no discussions or debates since the receipt from the Provincial Wage Council and the Governor's determination," said Teppy, as quoted from the West Java Provincial Government website, Wednesday (18/12/2024).

This UMK increase is effective from January 1, 2025. The Governor's Decree explains that employers are prohibited from paying their workers less than the stipulated amount, except for micro and small businesses where wages are determined by agreement between the business owner and the worker.

The UMK applies to workers with less than one year of service.
