Current Food Prices in Jambi: Onion and Chicken Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (29/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, mackerel, dry soybean (import), milkfish, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp5,750 (18.15%) to Rp37,430 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp2,660 (8.47%) to Rp28,760 per kg.

7. Shallots: Rp28,760 per kg (down 8.47%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,540 per kg (down 0.28%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,110 per kg (up 0.18%)
