Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (3/11/2024) at 16.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, red chilies, milkfish, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, dry soybean (import), shallot bulbs, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, up by Rp470 (1.51%) to Rp31,550 per kg. The price of curly red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, down by Rp470 (2.1%) to Rp21,920 per kg.
