Today's Food Prices (Dec 16) in Aceh: Eggs Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food items in Aceh today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (Dec 16, 2025) at 5:47 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 5 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are broiler eggs, bulk palm cooking oil, Minyakita, medium rice, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, red bird's eye chili, red onion, curly red chili, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler eggs saw the highest increase of Rp6,680 (20.66%) to Rp39,020 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,666 (3.84%) to Rp41,667 per kg.

2. Large Red Chili: Rp52,333 per kg (down 3.68%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp48,750 per kg (down 2.5%)
4. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp41,667 per kg (down 3.84%)
5. Red Onion: Rp41,000 per kg (down 2.38%)
6. Broiler Eggs: Rp39,020 per kg (up 20.66%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp35,625 per kg (unchanged)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp33,000 per kg (up 0.61%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,600 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,360 per liter (up 1.1%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,100 per kg (unchanged)
12. Minyakita: Rp17,800 per liter (up 0.75%)
