West Java Food Prices Friday (January 10th): Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (10/1/2025) at 13:47 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, broiler chicken meat, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up by Rp530 (8.97%) to Rp6,440 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was red chili, down by Rp17,040 (17.69%) to Rp79,290 per kg.
