Food Prices on Monday (April 29th) in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 13:26 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, curly red chilies, broiler chicken meat, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, milkfish, shallots, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,800 (6.75%) to Rp44,270 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp400 (3.16%) to Rp12,250 per kg.
