Latest Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta Region: Salt, Egg, and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (October 25, 2025) at 14:30 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are medium rice, Minyakita cooking oil, packaged cooking oil, premium rice, and dried soybean seeds (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chili, SPHP rice, pure beef, curly red chili, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest surge, Rp573 (1.46%) to Rp39,846 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices experienced the deepest drop, Rp2,043 (4.72%) to Rp41,273 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp37,037 per kg (up 1.14%)
7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,452 per kg (down 0.43%)
