Latest Indonesian Food Prices: How Much Does Chili Cost?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (3/7/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 17 commodities increased in price and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest, up by Rp3,560 (11.32%) to Rp35,010 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil fell the most sharply, down Rp440 (2.77%) to Rp15,420 per liter.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Indonesia according to Bapanas on July 3, 2024, at 08.01 WIB.
