Today's Food Prices February 12 in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Soybean Falls

Several food commodity prices in West Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 12, 2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

The commodities with price increases are curly red chili, shallots, large red chili, red bird's eye chili, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as imported soybeans, broiler eggs, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp2,833 (3.47%) to Rp84,500 per kg. Imported soybean prices fell the steepest by Rp400 (2.94%) to Rp13,193 per kg.
