Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Prices in Dumai City Decreased by 0.34% in June

The prices of components contributing to food, beverage, and tobacco inflation in Dumai City in June decreased by 0.34%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 2.19%. Among the nine inflation groups measured in this region, the food, beverage, and tobacco group contributed -0.34% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for food, beverages, and tobacco in Dumai City was at 110.88 in June 2024, lower than the previous month's 111.26.

Compared to the same month last year, food, beverage, and tobacco inflation has decreased by 10.23% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Dumai City have grown by 4.03% (year-to-date/YTD).

Compared to the other 11 groups, this inflation group ranked eighth.
