Latest Food Prices in Banten, How Much are Chilies?

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (18/8/2024) at 09.25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,230 (11.42%) to Rp12,000 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price drop of Rp7,140 (19.22%) to Rp30,000 per kg.

7. Milkfish: Rp30,000 per kg (down 6.31%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 19.22%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,500 per kg (down 0.9%)
