West Java Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (24/8/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, medium rice, shallots, garlic bulbs, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, and iodized fine salt have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp180 (0.46%) to Rp39,100 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp620 (1.13%) to Rp54,480 per kg.
