Food Prices Today, December 30, in East Java: Soybean, Chili, and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (30/12/2025) at 17:03 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 increased and 6 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were large red chilies and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chilies, broiler eggs, Honan garlic, broiler chicken meat, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili saw the highest increase of Rp857 (2.48%) to Rp35,452 per kg. Red onion prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp2,121 (5.47%) to Rp36,667 per kg.

3. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,348 per kg (down 0.69%)
4. Red Onion: Rp36,667 per kg (down 5.47%)
5. Curly Red Chili: Rp35,452 per kg (up 2.48%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp31,350 per kg (down 0.95%)
7. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,955 per kg (down 0.26%)
8. Large Red Chili: Rp28,576 per kg (up 1.52%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,326 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,327 per liter (stable)
11. Minyakita: Rp16,718 per liter (stable)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,242 per kg (stable)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,734 per kg (stable)
14. Medium Rice: Rp13,011 per kg (stable)
15. Imported Soybean: Rp12,867 per kg (down 0.06%)
16. Wheat Flour: Rp11,864 per kg (stable)
