Banten Region Food Prices Thursday (May 9th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (9/5/2024) at 16.46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, iodized fine salt, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, shallots, Indian mackerel, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,490 (15.65%) to Rp11,010 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp1,660 (4.78%) to Rp33,060 per kg.
