Latest Food Prices in Banten: Onion Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (7/10/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include dry soybean seeds (imported), broiler chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, corn at the farmer level, skipjack tuna, red bird's eye chili, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion commodity saw the highest increase of Rp1,233 (3.09%) to Rp41,190 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp2,195 (4.08%) to Rp51,647 per kg.

6. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp42,381 per kg (decreased 0.43%)
7. Mackerel: Rp41,476 per kg (increased 0.05%)
8. Red Onion: Rp41,190 per kg (increased 3.09%)
9. Milkfish: Rp37,333 per kg (increased 1.27%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,550 per kg (decreased 0.4%)
11. Garlic Bulb: Rp36,409 per kg (decreased 0.19%)
