Aceh Food Prices Saturday (December 7th): Onion Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 3:42 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, medium rice, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, dry imported soybeans, milkfish, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of garlic bulbs saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp560 (1.35%) to Rp41,940 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna saw the steepest decrease, dropping by Rp1,030 (3.68%) to Rp26,980 per kg.
