Latest Food Prices in East Java: Beef and Chicken Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (21/9/2024) at 09.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, SPHP rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as fine iodized salt, shallots, milkfish, curly red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices surged the highest by Rp570 (5.58%) to Rp10,790 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp3,200 (9.54%) to Rp30,330 per kg.
