Banten Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down (Saturday, November 25, 2023)

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11:12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

The price of curly red chilies increased the most, by 4.17% or Rp3,110, reaching Rp77,720 per kg.

Next, the prices of mackerel and granulated sugar increased by 2.83% or Rp1,050 to Rp38,130 per kg and 2.49% or Rp400 to Rp16,470 per kg, respectively.

The price of milkfish increased by Rp860 or 2.43% to Rp36,290 per kg, the price of shallots increased by Rp660 or 1.95% to Rp34,550 per kg, and the price of red chili peppers increased by Rp1,630 or 1.81% to Rp91,670 per kg.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of shallots decreased by 2.77% or Rp850 to Rp29,800 per kg, the lowest price decrease today in Banten.

The price of bulk wheat flour was recorded at Rp9,990 per kg, down 1.19%, the price of pure beef decreased to Rp134,720 per kg from Rp135,460 per kg, and the price of fine iodized salt decreased by Rp50 to Rp11,210 per kg.
