Lampung Region Food Prices, Monday (August 19th): Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (19/8/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, medium rice, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, red chilies, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,230 (6.05%) to Rp21,550 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp1,600 (4.97%) to Rp30,570 per kg.
