Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Oil and Beef Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (9/8/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, shallots, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp4,170 (19.1%) to Rp26,000 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the steepest price drop, down Rp14,400 (24.24%) to Rp45,000 per kg.

1. Pure Beef: Rp140,000 per kg (up 5.59%)
2. Red Chili Peppers: Rp45,000 per kg (down 24.24%)
3. Garlic Bulbs: Rp38,000 per kg (up 3.43%)
4. Curly Red Chili Peppers: Rp35,000 per kg (down 14.74%)
5. Broiler Chicken: Rp30,000 per kg (down 13.17%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (up 5.19%)
7. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,000 per kg (up 2.18%)
8. Shallots: Rp26,000 per kg (up 19.1%)
9. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,000 per liter (up 0.95%)
10. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (down 3.24%)
11. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp15,000 per liter (down 3.91%)
12. Premium Rice: Rp14,000 per kg (down 3.71%)
13. Iodized Fine Salt: Rp14,000 per kg (down 5.21%)
14. Medium-grain Rice: Rp13,000 per kg (up 1.09%)
15. Packaged Wheat Flour (non-bulk): Rp13,000 per kg (down 2.26%)
