Food Prices Today (10/12) in Central Java: Oil and Red Chili Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (10/12/2025) at 15:31 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include large red chilies, laying hen eggs, broiler chicken meat, curly red chilies, and bulk palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red onions and red bird's eye chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity increased the most by Rp796 (1.22%) to Rp65,963 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili decreased the most by Rp260 (0.32%) to Rp80,407 per kg.

4. Large Red Chili: Rp57,271 per kg (up 0.29%)
5. Red Onion: Rp47,796 per kg (down 0.15%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,963 per kg (up 0.67%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp31,333 per kg (stable)
8. Laying Hen Eggs: Rp29,259 per kg (up 1.09%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,981 per liter (stable)
