West Java Food Prices Week of September 29th: Rice Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (29/9/2024) at 08.48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, farmer-level corn, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, garlic bulb, SPHP rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp440 (8.21%) to Rp5,800 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most, by Rp710 (7.05%) to Rp9,360 per kg.
