Food Prices in West Sumatra Today: Red Chili Prices Up, Rice Down

The prices of several food items in West Sumatra today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (11/11/2025) at 08:01 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 12 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, skipjack tuna, consumption salt, packaged wheat flour, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as large red chili, packaged cooking oil, pure beef, medium rice, and fresh buffalo meat (local) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili experienced the highest price increase of Rp7,728 (11.08%) to Rp77,500 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices saw the deepest decrease of Rp55,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
