Today's Food Prices (04/2) in West Sumatra: Red Chili Rises, Onion Falls

Several food commodity prices in West Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (February 4, 2026) at 15:59 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

The commodities that increased in price were curly red chili, red bird's eye chili, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, only shallots decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili prices rose the most by Rp666 (1.56%) to Rp43,370 per kg. As for shallot prices, they fell the most by Rp27 (0.08%) to Rp33,167 per kg.
