Daily Price of Grade 1 Beef at Traditional Markets, January 2024

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp125,000. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, as well as the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp126,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has shown a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is traded at Rp125,000.

The record high for the daily price of grade 1 beef in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2017 with an increase of 78.57%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in October 2017 with a decrease of -44%.

PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi recorded four commodities decreasing and 14 others increasing. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Curly Red Chili, Medium-Sized Red Onion, Garlic, and Medium-Sized Garlic.
