Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra Region: What is the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (13/6/2024) at 15.54 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, milkfish, iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, dry soybean seeds (import), simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,940 (5.19%) to Rp59,590 per kg. Granulated sugar experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp160 (0.89%) to Rp17,820 per kg.
