Daily Prices of Low-Quality Grade II Rice in Traditional Markets, February 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in Riau Province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp13,100. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the last month, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp13,150.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets over the last three months in Riau shows a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in Riau Province is traded at Rp13,100.

The highest price increase for daily low-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in August 2023 with an increase of 21.79%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in August 2023 with a decrease of -17.54%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau show three commodities decreased and ten others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chili, Medium-Sized White Onion, and White Onion.
