Current Food Prices in West Java: What's the Price of Chicken Meat?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (22/10/2024) at 11:05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 15 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, red chilies, garlic bulbs, pure beef, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp480 (1.79%) to Rp27,320 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp210 (3.71%) to Rp5,450 per kg.
