The price of medium-quality II rice in North Maluku Province's modern markets has decreased by 0.97% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in North Maluku province's modern markets is recorded at Rp15,350 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, as well as the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in modern markets has decreased from Rp15,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in modern markets over the past three months in North Maluku has decreased by 0.97%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in North Maluku province's modern markets was traded at Rp15,500 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2017 with an increase of 43.85%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2017 with a decrease of -33.84%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in North Maluku recorded ten commodities decreasing and eleven others increasing. Basic commodities with price decreases are Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Cooking Oil, Rice, Medium Grade II Rice, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Grade 1 Beef, and Beef.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trend over the past month in North Maluku province:
