Latest Food Prices in East Java: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Wednesday, February 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (14/2/2024) at 08.10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, mackerel, farmer-level corn, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) commodities increased the highest by Rp970 (7.68%) to Rp13,600 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the lowest by Rp5,350 (8.83%) to Rp55,210 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp33,060 per kg (up 0.21%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,950 per kg (up 7.15%)
8. Mackerel: Rp32,520 per kg (down 2.08%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,730 per kg (unchanged)
