Latest Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Salt, Onions, and Chilies Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (25/10/2024) at 09.45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 19 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice (SHPB) and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, corn (farmer level), milkfish, mackerel, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of medium-grain rice (SHPB) saw the highest increase of Rp20 (0.16%) to Rp12,400 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp580 (5.8%) to Rp9,420 per kg.
