Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Salt Prices Rise, Egg Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (27/4/2024) at 15.31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, shallot garlic cloves, red chilies, skipjack tuna, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, shallots, and medium-grain rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp400 (3.27%) to Rp12,650 per kg. Chicken eggs saw the lowest price decrease, down Rp370 (1.34%) to Rp27,330 per kg.
