Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Thursday (11/9): Chicken Meat Prices Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food ingredients in D.I. Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (11/9/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include consumption salt, broiler chicken eggs, consumption sugar, pure beef, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red onions, Minyakita, bulk cooking oil, packaged cooking oil, and dried soybeans (imported) decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken meat commodity jumped the highest by Rp1,111 (3.04%) to Rp37,611 per kg. The price of red onions decreased the most by Rp840 (2.33%) to Rp35,160 per kg.

8. Tuna Fish: Rp33,786 per kg (down 0.8%)
9. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp31,263 per kg (up 2.05%)
