Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Chili and Beef Prices Drop

The prices of several food ingredients in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (20/10/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include shallots, consumption salt, Minyakita cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, large red chili, frozen buffalo meat (imported), medium rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest jump of Rp409 (1.11%) to Rp37,182 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili price dropped the most by Rp2,152 (5.19%) to Rp39,348 per kg.
