Residents of Yapen Islands Regency spend Rp302.7 per capita per week on purchasing young papaya.

The average expenditure of people in Kepulauan Yapen Regency to buy young papaya in 2023 was Rp302.7 per capita per week. This value increased compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp213.21 per capita per week.

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members for a month, whether from purchases, gifts, or self-production, divided by the number of household members. Household consumption is distinguished between food and non-food consumption, regardless of the origin of the goods, and is limited to household needs only, excluding consumption/expenditure for business purposes or given to other parties.

Expenditure for food consumption is calculated weekly, while for non-food consumption it is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure.
