Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Salt and Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (12/10/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, medium-grain rice, shallots, chicken eggs, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), SPHP rice, red chilies, premium rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp3,630 (32.79%) to Rp14,700 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil decreased the most sharply by Rp1,130 (6.91%) to Rp15,230 per liter.
