Bali Food Prices Thursday (24/10): Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (24/10/2024) at 08.08 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, premium rice, and layer chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, pure beef, medium rice, garlic cloves, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp4,640 (13.12%) to Rp40,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp4,520 (23.16%) to Rp15,000 per kg.

2. Mackerel: Rp40,000 per kg (up 13.12%)
3. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 10.34%)
4. Layer Chicken Meat: Rp39,000 per kg (up 0.23%)
5. Garlic Cloves: Rp35,000 per kg (down 1.46%)
6. Red Chili Peppers: Rp35,000 per kg (down 7.68%)
7. Layer Chicken Eggs: Rp27,000 per kg (up 1.39%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp25,000 per kg (up 2.08%)
9. Red Onion: Rp22,500 per kg (down 6.09%)
10. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp17,500 per liter (up 5.8%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,000 per liter (down 4.01%)
12. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (down 2.58%)
13. Premium Rice: Rp16,000 per kg (up 3.29%)
14. Red Chilies: Rp15,000 per kg (down 23.16%)
