Food Prices Sunday (9/11) in West Sumatra: Red Chili, Onion, and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (9/11/2025) at 08.01 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, consumption sugar, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, fresh buffalo meat (local), bulk wheat flour, pure beef, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp4,636 (6.92%) to Rp71,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp58,000 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
