East Java Food Prices, Sunday (July 28th): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (28/7/2024) at 15.11 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), curly red chili, garlic bulb, pure beef, and red chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, chicken eggs, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp300 (3.25%) to Rp9,540 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most sharply by Rp160 (3.09%) to Rp5,020 per kg.
