Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta, Indonesia: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday, April 28th, 2024, at 13:26 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 saw price increases and 6 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and chicken meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp6,540 (18.72%) to Rp41,470 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease, dropping Rp1,180 (2.12%) to Rp54,510 per kg.
